I wish I could give Atomic Style Lounge more than five stars and I also wish I didn’t hate typing on my phone so much, because I could drone on for DAYS about how utterly fabulous this experience was. My friend and I booked the makeup/hair package, and let me tell you: I walked in looking like a middle-aged Midwestern hausfrau and walked out a 1970s foxy lady ready for the Fireside Lounge. I can't believe I haven't written a review on Atomic yet. Truly there is no other place that I trust to do my hair. They specialize in all manner of cuts and styles and are extremely professional and friendly. I am so happy I found a salon that treats me like family and a true friend. I won't let another salon touch my hair. Even if i'm out of town I will wait till i'm back home and make an appointment at Atomic.
Atomic Style Lounge has amazing people working there. I cannot say enough about how well they treat their customers. Mel did an amazing job on my hair. She did an awesome hair do on me for my wedding that I would have never thought possible. So many of my friends and family have commented on how beautiful it looked. Hallie was amazing! She gave me exactly what I asked for and absolutely nailed the look I wanted. She really listened, paid attention to every detail, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend her!
DO NOT let them do your makeup, especially bridal makeup! The girl i had was a poor artist and can't deal with anyone with even the slightest amount skin texture. I told her multiple times throughout the process, that I didnt like the foundation/ look of my skin. She said no makeup can go over textured skin and look good. I literally left, looked in the car mirror, and went back in to have her wipe it all off!!
