If you're looking for exceptional dental work, Atlas Dental is excellent. A healthy mouth = good overall health. Wonderful, friendly staff. They ensure you know the costs of any repair work beforehand so you can decide how to proceed. They also carefully plan their approach to any of your special needs. Top notch, highly recommended. We travel 120 miles round trip to ensure we get the best -- well worth it for bridge repair and restoration work. We will continue for semi-annual checks after all this is done too.

I could not be more pleased with the dentist, her understanding, she listened to me quite a lot. She was very knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better dentist than what I had today. I am very, very pleased. I cannot wait to go back and to end up with dentures that fit. I also have TMJ and she was knowledgeable about that. I had to switch dental offices after my insurance changed and couldn’t be happier that I chose Atlas in Shadyside. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a dental office. Adam, who was my hygienist, was extremely friendly while also walking me through everything he was doing and why. At times, it is difficult to find people who are compassionate about their work and kind. My dental hygienist, Sam, displays those qualities. She is very thorough and tells you what you need to hear concerning your dental health. I've never experienced any discomfort after a cleaning. Dr. Mara pulls everything together. Atlas Dental is great, from reception to the hygienists and of course the lovely Dr. Mara. For me going to the dentist has never been fun, but they always go the extra mile with their quality of care and services.
