This has been my vet for sometime now my dog gets super excited to see them although he is a handful and sometimes 2 or more hands there isn’t a staff I’d let see him best vet in Delaware.
Dr. Shapiro is a FANTASTIC avian veterinarian. She got my bird in very fast for a sick visit, and really takes the time to explain everything. I'm very thankful that there is finally a competent and gentle veterinarian that handles birds here in Delaware, who truly loves what they do. Thank you, Dr. Shapiro!
When I moved to Middletown, my relatives took their dogs and cats to Dr. Weiher at AVC and were highly pleased with him and his staff. So, when Snoopie came to live with me, I naturally followed suit and have never regretted it! I know my girl has had the very best of compassionate care. Thank you for that and for keeping me educated about how to best show her my love!

Absolutely the most compassionate care you can find anywhere. Dr. Shapiro went above and beyond for my rabbit when she suddenly fell I'll, even coming in during her off hours, providing extra advice over the phone, and making additional emergency appointment for her during her recovery. I had a pregnant rabbit I brought in that had to have a cesarean and Dr. SHAPIRO saved her life. They are the best!!!
This morning we had our first visit at AVC I called for the appointment (non-emergency) on Wednesday and we were seen at 9:00 a.m. today. Friday. They called ahead to our previous vet to get Omie records for us so we didn't have to bother with it. First impressions, very friendly staff, polite, caring and clean office areas.
