Angels on Earth If you believe in Angels on Earth, Dr. Weiher, his family and his employees are just further evidence of it. We have been incredibly lucky to have both of our dogs and our cat be patients at Atlantic Vet since 2006. They treat all animals and their owners with kind caring hearts and are willing to work you to schedule your appointments. Even if we moved, I couldn't see trusting anyone else to take care of our animals. They treat our babies, like they are their own
not friendly I started to take 2 of my cats and 1 of my dogs here. When one of my dogs was injured, I called to make an appointment and the staff and vet were very dismissive - and didn't seem to care that I wanted my dog checked out. I quickly found another health home for my pets.
We love Dr. Weiher!!! We've been seeing this vet for almost 5 years with a 14 year old cat and since our lab was a puppy, He is very caring and always takes the time to talk about concerns without rushing us out of the office. His staff has always been kind and courteous. We're moving to another town this week but we'll continue to bring our "babies" to Dr. Weiher because we know they get well taken care of, Thank you Dr. Weiher and the staff at Atlantic Veterinary Center!
No Compassion I had bee a long time patron - 10+ years - however recently my dog became very sick on a Saturday so sick she couldn't even stand!. Atlantic was open for business that Saturday but said they were too busy to see my dog even though I stress my concerns about her condition. They simply dismissed me and told I would have to seek treatment else where. To me this is not the traits of a compassionate vet. RecommendedYou will not receive warmer and more compassionate care at any other veterinarian center. Dr. Weiher and his team go out of their way to care for their furry patients. I recently had to say goodbye to my very old kitty due to severe kidney failure, and they were so far beyond compassionate that I will be forever grateful for their care in such a sad time in my life. Dr. Weiher is very thorough and explains everything at each visit. I absolutely recommend AVC a thousand times over!
I’ve been a client for a few years now after switching from a larger vet practice. Every time I visit, I get excellent care for all of my dogs. Everyone takes as much time as needed and I never feel rushed. They really care and provide great levels of detail about that’s going on. I appreciate how thorough and thoughtful everyone is since my pups are my family! Thank you!
Our dogs love "visiting" Dr. Weiher and all the staff. Dr. W takes his time to be sure our dogs are taken care of and to be certain that we understand the care they were given and the instructions for follow-up, if any. It's an excellent veterinary practice.

I had an injured pet chicken and called Three Palms Zoo. They referred me here because he knew you had treated chickens in the past. I called Atlantic and was asked if this was a pet or part of a flock. Well, it’s both. I have 16 pet chickens but because it’s not one single pet, it’s considered a flock and they would not treat. Of course it’s a flock. Chickens are flock animals. I was very disappointed.
