I had to repair the 8L90 transmission on my 2017 Sierra. I spoke with the owner, Benjamin, both before and after he examined the transmission. Throughout the process he was extremely knowledgeable and communicated my available options based on the condition of the transmission. Excellent customer service and I would highly recommend Atlantic Transmissions.
Ben and his Technician's are absolutely amazing. They took care of me in a emergency and was super friendly. Explained everything that was wrong with my truck and even took care of me after I had left the Shop. I Highly recommend!!
This place is worth it!! I dealt with Ryan and let me tell you, this place, in my opinion, is beyond what a transmission shop should be, or any mechanic at that. I purchased a 2015 Tahoe from Bob Mills Mitsubishi and exactly 6 days later the transmission went out. After multiple calls and even dropping the car off at Bob mills they refused to return my calls, would not touch the newly purchased vehicle and even called Horry county police on me and banned me from their property. Atlantic transmission was very professional. They replace my transmission. The price came in under the quote and they had it done 2 days early. Very satisfied. Would definitely recommend Atlantic transmission to anyone
They charged me $140.00 to do a check on my transmission, and the result was i needed a new transmission, about $7,500.00. Took it to Master Mechanics and the problem was the front differential $2,000.00. My advice to the consumer always get a 2nd opinion. Atlantic Transmission is a crook. I lost $140.00 for diagnosing the wrong problem.
