Atlantic Edge Scuba is the DC metropolitan area's premiere scuba diving and snorkeling facility. It was established in 1993, by current owners John and Abbe Harman. With over 24 years' of experience in the area, we have certified thousands of divers and outfitted hundreds of thousands of snorkelers with premium watersports gear. Proud to be the exclusive scuba diving outfitter for the National Aquarium in Baltimore.

My son and I do the National Aquarium dive in Baltimore every year and we both love it! For us, it's an annual tradition! The aquarium is small (335,000 gallons) but the maximum group size is only six. The dive is very well organized. After arrival (private entrance) you stow your gear and proceed to an orientation/safety briefing, followed by a guided tour of the Aquarium. I recently did a refresher class prior to a scuba vacation. It was a fantastic class and I’m so happy I did it! I felt completely prepared for my SCUBA trip and was able to relax and have a blast. 100% would recommend this company for anyone looking to refresh their skills.
AMAZING INSTRUCTORS AND OVERALL TOP NOTCH CLASS!!! I went this past Sunday and did my very first scuba diving class. We had Troy and Jeff as our instructors and it was such a wonderful class!! They were so patient and helpful in both teaching and helping me learn each skill. That first breath underwater with all the gear was exhilarating! Atlantic Edge has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I started diving 8 years ago at age 58 but did not come across Atlantic Edge until 2013 when I did their Baltimore Aquarium Dive. From there I have taken Advanced Open Water and several other classes with them which have been excellent and am now studying/training to be a Divemaster through them.
