I just wanted to add my support for a wonderful company that everyone should be contacting for thier roofing needs. Atlantic Craftsman's crew arrived at 7:20 am and had my roof stripped and reinstalled by 4:00 pm. The crew was very professional and the cleanup was excellent. As for the price, 2 words, "Lowest Price" and the roof looks great!! Thanks Joe and thank your team for me!!
Pre-sales: Joe was great. He answered all of my questions and helped me make the best choice between contractors. Another company gave me a cheaper price for the Golden Pledge but Joe was willing to meet the price as I felt more comfortable working with him. Joe (the owner) came to our house to prepare the estimate within a day or 2 of my calling to request a quote. There was absolutely no pressure at all. He lets his business run on reputation and referrals. I had lots of neighbors who used Atlantic and were very pleased. So for me the decision was easy. Today I had the pleasure of employing Atlantic Craftsman Company to replace the roof on my home. The work crew arrived on time as promised and worked throughout the day in a professional and courtesy manner. Without prompting they were quick to see what work was promised and completed the job without disturbing the day-to-day evolutions of my family. I recently acquiried bids to re-roof my house. Atlantic Craftsman had done a number of roofs within a block of my house a couple of years ago. Highly recommend. We had a new roof installed in Feb 2010. Joe presented a great product, nice warranty and professional crew. I have waited to write a review so that I could see how the roof installation held up. I live in York County, and many said that I should only go with a local firm because I would never get someone outside of York County to come back if I had an issue. I can say they were wrong!! Atlantic Craftsman came to us highly recommended by our insurance company rep after a roofer destroyed the siding on our home. In addition, right before a major storm we discovered the previous roofer did not install the roof correctly. You could literally pick the shingles off the roof - they were not even nailed down nor were they installed to code (6 nails per shingle)! I got screwed big time by a previous roofer, but Joe swooped in to save the day. He cleaned up a huge mess and gave me a great deal on it! I was satisfied with the quality of the work and the kindness of the workers. The guys he had do our trim and gutters were equally high quality. It was all beautiful and he really hooked me up!
