There is definitely something very wrong with Atlantic city electric billing and business practices. My bill is over $9,000!!! I live in a 3 room apartment. They forwarded my mom's electric bill from a home she sold almost 4 years ago onto my bill. Suddenly my bill had an extra $4,000 added to it. Really the worst. Moved into an apartment where the previous tenants moved out without disconnecting and owed a bill. Went through 4 different people giving me different/ same answer. The previous tenants average electric use over 2 or 3 months was like 900$ so in order to get new electric we had to pay a 900 deposit BASED ON THE PREVIOUS TENANT BILL. PLUS A NOTARIZED LEASE. Can someone tell me how a 1600sqft house cost 720$ a month in electric this is ridiculous. My electric bill is 3400$ after 3 months. Your lucky I don't cut the line myself and hook up a bunch of generators. It would cost me less in gas a month
