The people giving this place a negative review didn't want to follow the rules. Like one person said above they were at 30+ places and hates this one? You have to want to get help for this to work. I absolutely loved the staff, I didn't even want to leave because I felt like I would have benefited more if I stayed longer but insurance only pays for so much. This place has near ruined my life with their incompetence and abuse. Over 2 years later and I'm not the same. My body registered the unwanted actions and being held down for ekg as if i were raped when they were the ones causing the heart issues and stress to begin with. My sex life is ruined because I can't handle being touched anymore. My nurse Anne Marie had to ask me what C-PTSD was which is pretty embarrassing on the staff part. This place damn near ruined my life with their abuse and gave me reason to avoid seeking help if I need it. (Edit) today I feel a tightness on my chest and my jaw and thinking of calling the hospital makes it worse because of what this place did to me..... How am I ever supposed to trust a hospital again when I need one? Great staff. Wonderful psychiatrists. Just remember to always advocate for yourself when it comes to medications, and treat others kindly. I’ve seen patients being nasty, impatient, or unkind to staff and then later on complain about the nurses being “rude.” “Dismissive” And “dull.” We are all people, including the nurses. We all struggle with mental health, including them. I’ve never had an issue with the nurses being mean, but that’s because I’ve never treated them like crap or gave them a hard time
