Quick service, the FBO is hidden at the back of the airport, and has only a small sign to identify its frequency. Make sure to get enough fuel to avoid the $40 fee.
Bloody expensive for Pistons in a time when other FBOs (University Air Center-GNV) is removing Piston facility fees, Atlantic-SGJ charges for every trip. Ie., If I land to pickup a friend for lunch, they charge a facility fee of $40. When I return to drop her off later the same day, another $40. I ask management to reply and confirm or set the record straight on this one. Sheltair, Signature, even the facilities in the remote Keys and Bahamas don’t stick us this hard. Interior facility, kinda fine but could be better. Should be more cozy and bright. There are free coffee machine,pc and microwave but I’ve seen better ones in another airports FBOs. Pilots room is not bad but still small. Restroom, should be brighter and repaired. For this quality and 40$ facility fee unless you buy overpriced 12Gals of fuel for skyhawk? I would go another place next time if I have a choice. St Augustine old town is 10mins away by car, that is the only good point.
