I called Emory Podiatry to schedule an appointment. The next available opening they had was a month out, so that's what I took. A month later I arrive for my appointment and they tell me the appointment has been cancelled bc the doctor I was seeing was not in the office that day. I was told "we tried to leave you a voicemail". I checked my voicemail box and it was only 40% full. I asked if they sent me an email, updated my MyChart, or tried to call me more than once. Dr.Cain is a great Surgeon and did excellent work on discovering my second toe was broken in two places. His staff is polite, but his bedside mannerism needs improvement and exam rooms are too small for patients with podiatry conditions.
I was supposed to be visiting Dr. Alder. Came early to fill out paperwork. Waited for 15 minutes past my appointment time in the waiting room. After I went to the front desk to ask how behind Dr. Alder was, I was taken back into an exam room within 10 minutes. Upon being in the exam room another 10 minutes, I left. I was told Dr. Alder was on his way to see me, but he was in his office behind his desk. Once he saw I was leaving due to time constraints, there was no apology or communication.
