Great way to get out and exercise while having a nice view of the scenery!
Thank goodness people have a vision for public places like the Atlanta beltline! What a wonderful time we had on our pub crawl and we're gobsmacked by all of the people who were out enjoying the path and the beautiful day. If you haven't been on the beltline yet, get thee to it!
I love the beltline and what it has doe for the city However, it is very very dangerously crowded. Walkers are oblivious to bikers and it's nearly impossible to pass. Most walking groups walk more than half the path wide, and are not aware of their surroundings. I saw 2 nearly very serious crashes yesterday. There needs to be a separate path for walkers and one for bikers. And better signage that lets people know to always be alert and aware of others on the path.
