Got a referral from PCP specifically for evaluation for adult ADD. When making appointment with referred doctor they asked what was the appointment for. I Specifically said for evaluation for adult ADD. They assistant asked me all kinds of family history ect. THEN disclosed that to proceed the “questionnaire” for evaluating for adult add is a separate not covered by insurance $250. Fee. This should have been disclosed when making the appointment. My time here has been so refreshing. The staff at Atlanta Psychiatric Medicine go above and beyond what is expected. Their kindness, patience, and flexibility have left a lasting impression on me. Dr. Rizvi, in particular, is a truly lovely person with a kind heart. She consistently strives to meet patients where they are, offering care that is both clinically sound and deeply empathetic. I am especially grateful to her for taking me on last minute, during a time when I was struggling with a provider at a major hospital who ... read more

I’m a graduate nursing student who has had the privilege of working with the team at Atlanta Psychiatric Medicine for the past three months, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. That’s why my time here has been so refreshing. The s... read more

This company was fine when I first started treatment in 2017, but lately the appointments keep getting shorter and shorter. A psychiatric appointment should NOT be only 5 minutes long. All they do is ask if I am okay, refill my meds, then send me on my way. They do not look at my chart. I am starting to feel like just a number to them, and absolutely do not feel valued as a patient any more. I will be taking my needs somewhere else.

I’ve seen Dr. Rizvi a few times over the years, and every visit has been amazing. I definitely recommend coming in for TMS. As someone with complex medical trauma, I truly appreciate how kind and human-centered this office is. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated like a human being, not just a patient, I highly recommend this office. Dr. Rizvi is truly incredible, and Genesis is just as wonderful! Like any medical office, there may be a short wait at times—but in my experience, it’s never been more than 10 m... read more
