This was my second visit to Hinsdale Dental. We have been very pleased with the service to date. However, when I arrived this time I was told there was no dentist in the office that day. I was then informed that Illinois state only requires someone to see a dentist once a year, which I found very confusing. Since I pay for insurance, and my insurance allows me to see a dentist twice a year, why wouldn't I do that? We are very sorry about the Dentist not being there the day of your cleaning appointment and it was our error you were not notified prior to your appointment. Although it is legal to have hygienists working and an open office without a dentist, it is not our standard of care to have a dentist absent during our working hours. This case was an exception and we hope we can make it up to you in the future.

Always pleasant
Everyone is always so friendly at the office. One of my crowns fell out, and Dr. Brown is on maternity leave, but Cathy was able to give me an appointment with Dr. Novak immediately prior to my cleaning appointment. Dr. Novak glued in my tooth, Nancy cleaned my teeth, and. two hours later, I was on my way. Thanks.
