The team at ATL Glassworks was so fun to work with! We needed some new glass for our 1960’s door restoration and they jumped right in to help us pick out and cut the glass to size. The door turned out amazing and we are so thankful for their help making this project come to life
It's well worth the drive, I drove 30 miles one way and I am going to go back soon. You can learn about Art glass, they have a multi-talented expert on staff to guide you and answer questions. They offer stained glass classes, tools, equipment, supplies, for all types of glass art. I drove in to pick up a couple of sheets of COE 90 they have a nice selection, they also have a larger selection of COE96. I am there picking up glass for fusing artwork and a new glass break pliers for $15.
This was everything I was hoping for! I wanted to know more about this hobby before I committed to a new hobby fully unsure if it would be something I would enjoy. Day(e) was incredible, very patient and so helpful. My son and I walked out of this experience with a beautiful, unique and tangible memory. Totally worth it, even if it is just a date idea or something you’d like to explore before committing.
I took a beginner level class. The class is limited to 4 people and is very personal and intimate. I learned a lot and got a lot of assistance from the teacher, who was also the owner of the shop. We were taught everything you needed to know and then the practical side of it as well as helping fix errors. There was also so much glass and finished pieces all around. It was so cool. I highly recommend if you are looking for a weekend activity or a new hobby.
My family gave me the class as a birthday gift. I went with 2 of my daughters and we had an amazing time and took home beautiful creations! Day was an excellent teacher and the class went by so quickly. I’m looking forward to making more pieces and will recommend to my friends!!
