I remember way back when I was a kid in the early 70's in Houston eating the Chick-O-Sticks when they where about a foot long. Excellent candy. May favorite are the Peanut Butter Bars.
I think it's great that the company continues to use Mabel Atkinson's recipe for the penut butter bars. She was a genius on how she made them in the 40's. There terrific!!!
I have had Peanut Butter Bars and Chick O Sticks all my life &they are some of the best candies I have ever had. I just recently discovered Slo Pokes & Black Cows, OH MY them are DELICIOUS.
Since I was a youngster I've enjoyed Chick O Sticks!!
Had their candy as a child in Michigan. Then received large candy peppermint stick for Christmas 2009. Rest is history in my family. My son took me to the factory the 1st and my daughter the 2nd. The best peppermint you'll encounter. Chick O Sticks great too. Joke is Grandma walks out with boxes,not bags but the Grandkids & neighbors like to share plus must bring some back to Michigan!!Highly recommend
Fresh from the factory, super low prices, and the nicest folks you'll ever meet. I stop in for pounds of peanut brittle, Long Boys, and of course ChickOSticks every time I am in town. A+!!!
