RecommendedThey are the one and only Atkinson Candy Factory. n 1954, when Atkinson Candy decided to sell the peanut butter–filled hard candy covered in toasted coconut known as “chicken bones” outside the state of Texas, it named the candy Chick-O-Stick because another company already had rights to the name Chicken Bones. My Grandmother worked there in the early 60s, along with my Aunts. You can buy a 12 oz bag of mini Chick-O-Sticks for a 1.00! Cheap Candy and so so good!

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that the Chick-O-Stick has been ruined forever. The ingredients were fine the way it was. I have been eating Chick-O-Sticks since the 80's and as of now there aren't many places that still sell them in stores. Every so often I would buy a bunch at Five Below just to bring back my old childhood memory. When I say I was crushed after I bit into it, its disgusting now. I was stuck with a metal barb in my candy. No response from company or anybody. It was in my chick o stick.
Chico Sticks and Peanut Butter Bars are favorite candies from childhood, can’t get enough of them, but I opt for the sugar free version now and still love them!
