After being in remission from UC for 9 years I had a colonoscopy with Dr Saleem and had my follow up yesterday that showed mild inflammation, no flare ups and I have no symptoms. Instead of Dr Saleem putting me on an anti inflammatory med to help keep things at bay and recheck my labs in a couple months, he also wanted to put me on an Immunosuppressant asap that is used for severe cases, has to be used for the rest of your life and has a laundry list of side effects. Dr. Saleem was so helpful and caring when I came to him. His staff and office is always on top of my care. Recommend all of my friends to him and his staff!
Felt like my time was not valuable, asked to arrive 30 minutes before my appointment (only a follow up, scheduled for 15 minutes) and after waiting nearly an hour after my appointment time still hadn't heard from Dr. Saleem so I had to leave as I needed to get back to work. Who knows when I finally would have been seen before I left.
Very efficient and friendly staff. I did not feel rushed during my appointment. Dr. Saleem took time to explain the pros and cons of any additional procedures.
