I went to the Mason City East Athletico after injuring my Achilles while running. Todd provided a free assessment and diagnosed me with severe Achilles tendonitis. When I went in for my first visit just four weeks ago, I could barely walk. After only three weeks of treatment, I’m now able to slowly start running again! I know I’ll need to take it slow, but thanks to Todd’s treatment, advice, and encouragement, I’m confident I can work my way back to where I was before the injury. What a great place to heal both physically and emotionally. Right when you enter you can feel the warm welcome family environment. All the therapists get to know you by name and watch and notice your progress even when they aren’t assigned to you. Todd was my main therapist, he holds a gift in helping you find your strength, pushing you to higher levels, listening to your struggles, truly caring enough to know what you need, and when you are at limits. Todd and Dillon were great to work with. They are the reason our daughter is further along in her knee surgery recovery than the doctor anticipated. Would highly recommend them both.
Dealing with an arthritis flare up in my knee, I chose Athletico for my physical therapy due to its location and reviews. The entire staff there is extremely caring, professional, and knowledgeable, as well as fun and personable. My mobility improved immensely, and I left with the skills to continue strength building on my own. I highly recommend them!
Relieved my pain! After my motorcycle accident, I was still in constant pain running from my pelvis, down the back of my leg. They taught me how to relieve that pain. I can ride my motorcycle longer. Both Sean and Kaitlyn were very knowledgeable and friendly. They worked around my schedule. They respected me and made me feel like a friend. I would highly recommend them. If I ever have chronic pain again I will go back to them!
