I don’t really know how to explain how wonderful, compassionate and skilled my PT Kristine from WLA Athletic is. I have been an athlete for a bazillion years (ultra running, endurance riding, bla bla bla). I am pretty good at listening to my body. I am so grateful for the physical therapist Alexa at Athletic Physical Therapy who helped me gradually build strength. This eliminated pain that I was struggling with in various body parts. She is very knowledgeable. Both Alexa and her assistant Son were amazing and attentive during each session. The front desk employees are very kind as well. It was easy to book or reschedule sessions. Athletic Physical Therapy is just what I'd hoped for. The entire staff knows what they are doing and they help people of all shapes, stripes and activity level. For me, an active person who counts on the gym.... Alyna and team worked with me on specific exercises and adjusting them and adapting them. Alyna helps me greatly. Kudos to the whole place. The facility is terrific... just what I wanted.
I went back to Athletic after ACL surgery (I went before for prehab and was equally pleased), and I can say they are for sure the best physical therapy clinic ever. Kevin and Jonathan are amazing, dedicated, and caring PTs, and Leslie, Syl, and Ayana are amazing aides. The entire team has great energy, and they all care about their patients doing well. I would recommend them to anyone!
Unfortunately had a frustrating experience with the front desk staff (Kevin) while trying to book my 16 authorized PT sessions referred by my specialist. When I asked basic questions about the physical therapist who would be treating me, I was told they could not share that information due to "therapist privacy" which is not a standard practice at any medical facility I have encountered.
