I'm a CrossFitter that runs occasionally as a part of my workouts. I went to Athletic Annex recently and purchased a good amount of gear that works for both running and CrossFit. They were extremely friendly and helpful, evening videoing how I run to help me pick the right pair of running shoes. I certainly recommend them, no matter what type of athlete you are.
Better than expected. I expected qualified expert recommendation. I didn't expect regular competitive prices plus a discount for a team runner.
Finally visited the Broad Ripple location today. The girl working was so nice and helpful. She was engaging with my kiddos, and let's face it...shopping with small kids can be a headache if you feel like you aren't welcome in a store with them! Hope to be back soon!
I was so intimidated to ever get my feet properly fit because I consider myself a novice at running. The staff, esp sweet Rosie, made me feel comfortable and never seemed snobbish. She was very helpful and suggested several brands, never being pushy. She even helped look after my silly 3 year old as I tried on a couple sports bras. :) Also helped that I happened to make it on a day there was an extra 12% off.
Just bought a new pair of Nikes in preparation for my first-ever half-marathon (2016 Mini). The staff was extremely helpful. I'm a difficult customer because my feet are the size of a 10-year-old and are wide. I loved being able to test out the shoes before purchase as well. I've been recommending it to my fellow runners as well!

Best customer service in town! Have had some injury prone HS athletes go here after bad luck & stress fx from poor shoe choices elsewhere and they love their Annex shoes!
