As a first time mom, I had many questions and concerns about breastfeeding my child. Five days after leaving the hospital, I felt relieved to find Kate's services and booked an appointment immediately. With Kate's expertise, my worries about infant weight gain, milk production, and pumping were wonderfully addressed. Kate had advice for achieving a strong latch, recommended products to relieve nipple pain, and helped me create a pumping schedule for my return to work along with addressing my baby's bottle feeding issues. Breastfeeding felt hard until we met with Kate - she helped it feel easy. I recommend her to all the moms, new or experienced. We visited several times with our newborn, and several times after the newborn stage to talk about changes our baby was experiencing, introducing solids, navigating returning to work, etc. Highly recommend no matter what stage you are at.
I wish I could leave 5 million stars. We wholeheartedly recommend working with the lovely people of AthensBorn! Heather was our doula and we were supported by her during pregnancy, at our baby’s birth, and beyond. Kate has been an amazing resource for all things lactation. I can’t imagine not having these amazing people in our little family’s corner!
I can’t say enough about how thankful I am for Kate helping me through my second breastfeeding journey! My second time has been a bit more challenging than my first time with my son. I breastfed my son for 18 months, so I am very experienced, but I knew I needed some extra support with my daughter.
