RecommendedGreat location to OU and very nice inter courtyard area. If you book a room, ask for an inside room.
Everything in the room is so clean! Also, when we noticed a problem in the room, it was resolved right away
It is the nicest hotel in town but .... prices for dinners way to high. Example: Graduation dinner 2019. It was a Buffet for $50.00. Really? A buffet for $50.00? After these parents sent their children through school and paid to stay in your hotel .... $50.00 per person for a buffet? I don't think so! You're taking advantage of these people for an average tasting buffet. I cancelled my reservation when I found out the cost. Price gouging at its worst!
The hotel is well-kept and amenities are in great condition. Hotel condition aside... the best part about Ohio University Inn is Lucy at Bunch of Grapes Tavern! Lucy was an extremely infectious personality. She is friendly, happy to help and an amazing server who puts a smile on your face. Thank you Lucy!
LOVED my stay. Nice staff. Good food. STARBUCKS. Very nice bed and pillows (I’m a bed snob) and very nice towels and toiletries. I love this place and will stay again my next visit. Plus, great rate.
How about cleaning a room before checking guests into it. Filthy, nasty - big pile of dirty towels on the shower floor, wastebasket not emptied, no toiletries available except a used bar of soap on the sink. Everything in the room was damp - bed, pillows, chairs - just a dampness about the entire room. Disgusting experience altogether. Not to mention, not even having any record our reservation upon our arrival. At check-out, when we mentioned these things, we were offered 50% off our next stay... Really? At the recent Vulcan Riders Association Rally the folks at this hotel were absolutely fabulous!! I would definitely recommend OU Inn.
We were there for our 2018 Buckeye Blast VRA motorcycle rally. Everyone was very polite, helpful and went out of there way to make us feel welcome. The service was outstanding. Rooms were very nice , food was fantastic. Service was awesome. I would recommend Staying here for sure.
