I'm really thankful that the Clark County Health Department is able to provide long-acting birth control for such a low cost. They are a blessing to Georgia! Thank you for all that you do. To anyone coming for birth control, please remember that you may have to wait, and they may be understaffed at times, but be grateful that they exist and have the funding to offer us women free or low-cost services. If you're like me, with no health insurance and variable income, then this is absolutely worth the wait!
When you only have 1 person in the entire building who can issue birth certificates and she takes a lunch from 1:30-2:30 you need to have that posted on the front door, stated in your automated phone system where your hours are listed, have it on your website and tell people when they call you as they are on their way with a newborn instead of letting them get there from 30 minutes away and get unloaded with an infant and huge diaper bag just to be told no one can help them.
