The staff was so rude. Dude came out on the telephone, clearly a personal call, and stayed on the phone for several minutes instead of doing his job. We got fussed at for a mistake in the booking that most likely occurred through a travel site! Got gruff when asking for a spare key for the room. Got the same when asking for do not disturb sign that should be in the room but wasn't. The parking lot is tight as well. I drive a 2 door civic and its tight for me! Athena Inn is in my experience a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and safe. The staff are polite, kind, and helpful. It is in a perfect location for many events and not far from the airport. This will be my 4th time staying. Prices are incredible and I feel that a better small, low cost hotel really can't be found. That is my honest opinion. When I visit Chattanooga, I will always stay here. I hope it never closes! ***Be sure to call them and book directly.

This place is located 5 mins from the airport. Plenty of place to eat close by. The price is a good deal for what you get. This place has so much potential if they could upgrade the right things. It was clean and quite. The part that ruined my stay was I had to go get I was watching TV and seen a roach run across the TV stand and I also did not like the $100 cash deposit and they have to check your room before you leave to get a refund.
