Not bad Athens isn't exactly abundant in the sushi department, but this place is a heck of an improvement over a chain. Like any restaurant in Athens, it is fairly veg-friendly (even for sushi).
Great for lunch deals Lunch deals are great. For something like 8.95 you get a ton of food. You have a list of things to choose 3 dishes from. I was full after eating one of my 3 dishes and took the rest home for later. All my friends got real fish sushi and loved it. It is their preferred lunch place and you can definitely get dishes for less or more than 8.95. Beware, service here can be very slow and you may be late getting back because they take so long getting you your check.
BEST SUSHI IN TOWN – Absolutely LOVE going to Utage/ Athens Sushi Bar. The Utage Special is to die for and the Spicy Tuna is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Highly recommended!

Utage evolves and exists – I have gone to this restaurant 150 times in the last 6 years, and it sometimes is great, often pedestrian. The Japanese ownership will put on an exotic feast for one of their own, but seldom do the white visitors get treated to the off-menu delicacies. My son loves going there and it is no surprise given he was procreated after eating some eel one evening.
