The staff is so kind & caring; their first priority is the care of my very sick pet. It's an extra half hour drive from Santa Maria & very, very worth it! I highly recommend Atascadero Pet Hospital!
If you care about your pets life don't ever take them here. Absolutely ridiculous. As I was going into an exam room a dog came in obviously in respiratory distress. When I came back out 20 minutes later the dog was still in the waiting room clearly in respitory distress. As I waited in the waiting room for my carrier to be returned the dog started seizing and died in the owners arms, no employees noticed, I had to run in the back and get someone to come to the waiting room. The vets are awesome and caring. My only beef is some of the techs behind the counter can be short tempered and have an attitude. Something nobody needs when they're worried about their fur babies.
