Have been enjoying a weekly dinner at Atari Ya for many years. What brings me back? Atari Ya has friendly welcoming staff, consistently fresh and well-prepared traditional meals as well as customer-inspired special rolls and dishes. It was not horrible, BUT almost everything we ordered arrived completely drenched in a teriyaki sauce. You could not taste ANYTHING but this sauce. The calamari & some of the rolls were covered in teriyaki. WHY? The rolls that did not come with this sauce were okay, not great. We might give them another try and ask for NO sauces in anything.
The best Japanese restaurant in the central coast by far.
