Service and food was poor, for being on the water in Newport you think drinks would be fresh and food would be better but instead I got boxed sangria and over cooked food. Not impressed at all.
I love taking friends to "at The Deck"....the staff, attentive and most wonderful....Chef Matt Holmes knows how to win patrons appetites with his delicious portions....just a lovely place with an inviting atmosphere....a 10 plus rating.....
Food was outstanding- had the grilled Swordfish! A great place off the beaten path so we were able to get a table at 8:30 by reserving at 8:15....
The only positive point is the spectacular view. Other things are way below the standards: poor service and very disappointing food. And unreasonably pricey. Will never return (but anyway, I don't think that the restaurant will care)
Six of us went for dinner and we all ordered from the restaurant week menu. We were all happy with our meals. The waiter was great. The only negative I would say was they ran out of at least 3 of the desserts they offer b
Outdoor HUGE WATERFRONT BAR...truly a pearl you think you could only find in an oyster
For being on the water the calamari was horrible .... nice little place otherwise ..
