Dr. T and his staff were phenomenal !! He was exactly what I was looking for. His attentiveness and humor made me feel comfortable and at ease. At the end of my session I felt at peace. Bonus…he was also extremely helpful in sorting out issues with my insurance. A million thank yous Dr. T.
They canceled my appointment about 45 minutes before it started because they wanted to review paperwork. Which left me no time to find someone to fill my antidepressants.
Dr. T is more than just my psychiatrist; he’s my therapist, my primary care physician, and one of my most trusted advisors. Unquestionably worth paying out of pocket to get to see a doctor who listens thoughtfully and takes as much time with you as you need. He really, really cares about his patients and he knows what he’s doing with prescribing meds. The world would be a better place if everyone had a Dr. T in their lives.
I began seeing dr T in January 2021 after many many failed attempts with other psychiatrist and when I say he is a “different breed” I mean that in the best way possible. He is kind and supportive and truly listens to you. You are not dismissed and belittled like all of the other psychiatrists I have seen. If you are considering going to him, just do it. I have been a client of Dr. Terhakopian since 2019. When my previous psychiatrist (Scott McClure) retired, I was disappointed because he was an attentive and talented physician, had taken very good care of me, and had treated me with both respect and kindness.
