Exellent explanation of diagnosis and remedial suggestion.
Dr Austruc Jr. gave a conservative view of potential benefits of surgery. Results were better than expected. Everyone at the Retina Institute was great and I got the feeling that they were not rushed but were adequately staffed to give everyone whatever attention was needed.
Dr Austruc gave a detailed explanation of my condition and options, including surgery, but with no pressure to have it. We did decide on surgery. I always felt that everyone I dealt with there had ti.dvto do their jobs without rushing. The surgical outcome was great, better than expected, and continues to improve. I am extremely grateful to Dr Austruc and the entire staff!

I have been a patient of Dr Astruc for 4 + years. I would recommend him 100 times over. I am pleased with his service concerning my eye challenges. He has excellent customers service skills, he explains everything step by step and he is compassionate. The staff is awesome!!! I would recommend Dr Astru to everyone!!!!
Dr. Astruc is an excellent doctor. He saw my husband in an emergency situation for a detached retina, working him into his very full schedule. His staff was courteous, professional, friendly, and so helpful. Dr, Astruc's exam was thorough, and he was so patient and calm as he explained what had happened, and how to resolve it with immediate laser surgery. He walked my husband through every step, keeping him calm and comfortable. He is an excellent doctor, and we are grateful to have found him!
