Ron responded quickly to my request for quote for a new roof, miscellaneous wood repairs and a new paint job. His proposal was very professional, concise and thorough, clearly defined the scope of work. I was disappointed with the general attitude of this contractor. He was late and when I asked him how much this would cost after he looked at the what I needed done, he appeared reluctant to say until he he could finish the job. I would not allow him to start until he gave me the cost up front. I did allow him to complete the job, but because of his attitude and displaying a lack of professionalism, I will not use his service again.

I had no indication that there might have been a problem during the actual repair. I arrived within 1 minute of stated time. After making sure of the repair plan, I presented a cost estimate of only $40, obtained agreement, then completed the work. 3 wks later I received this review. I discovered my making 100% assurance of the repair was viewed as making the repair & reluctant to give an estimate. My minimum charge is $75. The fix was to re-tighten an Allen screw. After dealing with several contractors who were either unresponsive or too highly priced, it is a pleasure to find someone like Ron Overton with Astrotech Contractors. Ron worked with to put together a proposal that addressed our needs while meeting our budget requirements. As a general contractor, he arranged for carpentry, roofing, painting and gutters. All aspects of the work are professional and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Ron and we will not hesitate to work with him in the future.
