RecommendedLove the atmosphere, great area next to night life.
We stayed at Astro Motel for 2 nights and we were not able to park at the motel’s parking lot for either night because it could not accommodate more than 12 cars which is ridiculous. By definition, a motel is a place where it anticipates its guests to be coming with a motor vehicle, hence it a motel and not a hotel. We parked at the overflow parking which is equally full and I am uncertain if it was actually used by Astro’s guest. It was a marvelous experience. Excellent rooms, vintage mid. Entity furnishing and the management was awesome. Outdoor space was very upscale and unique.
I. Am. Floored. As someone who, a decade ago, lived down the street from Juillard Park, I never thought this part of town would be so lovely. The remodel on The Astro Motel is absolutely stunning. It is a delightful, comfortable, stylish retreat super close to downtown Santa Rosa. I am likely to stay here every time I come to town for a visit.
What a great spot. Very clean and well organized, great mid-century modern vibe, and yummy local coffee, snacks, and pastries. There’s a great breakfast/lunch restaurant and separate taqueria within 500 feet. Highly recommend this place.

BEWARE Unhelpful management who mischarged our credit card by $200, then refused to make it right.
