About this business
After years of working in the pest control industry, founder Lamar Culbreth fulfilled his dream by starting his own pest control business in 1969. With his wife, Margaret, he opened the first Astro Exterminating office in Valdosta with himself being the only technician. Today with eleven locations, Mr. Culbreth's daughter, Laura C. Perlman, son, Rick Culbreth, and granddaughter, Melissa Bullington Thomas, manage over 200 employees in South Georgia and Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Astro has been there for us since day one we bought our home in 2016. We use their termite control and pest control. Everyone is supper nice when it comes to handling things. They always respond in a timely manner and do the job that they were asked to 100%. Also my technician Shane Chitwood is AMAZING. You guys really need to stop billing us, we haven't lived in that house for months. The two months we were actually there, you guys only showed up on the day we moved in. I've called you repeatedly and you said this would be handled ... but I received another bill today. Seriously stop it please and thank you. I'll be stopping by tomorrow in person to handle this for the 15-18th time ??!
Was told the first 2 times when they were coming and haven't talked to them since! My back gate is usually closed and I am usually home. I haven't spoken or seen anyone in 6+ months. I keep getting a bill but not sure if anyone is coming! I would have liked my inside done at least once...
