Associates West has an individual named Christine (Chris) Brooks (female) who is rude and unprofessional. Avoid purchasing or renting anything attached to these names. She does not care about people or the properties they are hired to manage.
Imagine needing something at the condo unit you own and your property manager, Associates West can’t be reached In spite of their website and phone number saying they are open. They close at 1pm on Fridays, but if you’re unlucky enough to live in a building that Chris Brooks handles, you’re literally on your own Monday-Thursday too. Avoid the headache with this company and individual.
I rented from Associates West at their 11th Ave building in Capitol Hill for just about 3 years. The first year I lived there, I had almost zero issue. The last 2 years have been awful. New year’s day 2023 a panel in the ceiling above my shower began to leak water and fell off, leaving a hole in my ceiling. I asked them to come fix it, and their contractor cancelled the repair because the neighbors above us were sick and wouldn’t allow access to their apartment to come fix it.
