Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit? Not one bit! I felt much better when I left! Did this provider have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines? Absolutely! They were very entertaining!
I don't think they were very experienced or well-trained. They didn't know what they were doing at all. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. I did not even make it in, the receptionist that answered the phone was SO rude I decided against my referral. We're calling for a service, a need, and it doesn't make us feel any better to have someone answer the phone as if we're bothering them. Food for thought.
I have to agree that the women running the front office are VERY rude never looking at you when you come in. I have been going there for about 2 years every 3 months. In that amount of time not once did any of the women up front smile, ask me how I was doing or to have a good day when I left. Several times they have over booked my NP and had me waiting for more than 20 mins. The receptionists there are very rude and have never even smiled at me. I felt taken care of by the NP who actually saw me for my issue, but the two women up front sour the whole experience for me. My NP is moving to another practice and I think I will follow her and not stay with Associates of York.
