I cannot recommend Dr. Gregory Steinmetz based on repeated delays and an uncollaborative approach to care. Even with early morning appointments, I often waited over an hour to be seen. At my annual visit, I asked to add additional lab tests beyond the small panel that was planned and offered to pay out of pocket. The conversation turned argumentative and dismissive, and I did not feel supported in making informed, preventive health decisions. I left feeling dismissed and unsupported. I have been dealing with a rare, hideous disease for almost 15 years. I have been a patient with Breakwater Care, formally known as Associates in Primary Care Medicine for over 25 years. My father-in-law was a renowned vascular surgeon (Retired) and he told me that even though he had the best education from Ivy League schools, he always listened intently to what his patients were feeling or saying. Place is a joke. Staff never answers phone. If your sick and need to see a physician they tell you to call 911. For your own safety please stay away from these hacks

Now known as Breakwater Primary Care... I am giving 2 stars because the staff is mostly very nice and compassionate. Although during my last visit I was absolutely shocked when the new medical assistant looked at my list of medications and asked me what medication is called "semi-annual"? I had to explain that that is not the name of a medication but how often I take it. I unfortunately had to stop seeing my physician at this location because he refused to help me get medical transportation and refused to help me get an MRI ... read more
