I saw Dr. Hansell as a new patient just a few months ago. My visit did not start out good from the git go. The medical assistant left the door open while asking me questions...can you say HIPPA violation! Then she got upset with me when I told her I didn't want to have xrays taken because I already had some 2 months ago and I didn't think the insurance would pay and I had already filled out the form for them to request my medical records 2 weeks prior. rotator cuff surgery I would like to commend Dr Toman on the excelent surgery he did for me. When I orginally saw him for pain in my shoulder he gave me the options I had with surgery going to be the end result. I could do it now or later. My choice was now and get it over with. The pain after surgery wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Actually it was worse before I had the surgery. I must admit I didn't like the sling much but I knew it was a nessary evil.
