Grew up with Longview fiber and Schmitz logging. Never a bad thing to say. Miss the woods and the families within
I grew up near a town with 4 saw mills. Very few people were out of work. My father was a logger. (Faller & bucker) that is what kept us in food & clothing. One by one the saw mills have gone by the way side. Only one very large mill remains.
