Carmen appraised a house and cut the property size in half on the appraisal. When it was brought to her attention, she refused to change any aspect of the appraisal. If you have a choice, avoid using this appraisal company at all costs. They make several errors on appraisals and refuses to fix or adjust the appraisal. People like Carmen are single handedly destroying families, forcing people to be homeless, and ruining peoples financial wellbeing. Sara Adams "helped" with my home appraisal during a difficult situation. She chose to not respond to my voicemails or emails about my home, she promised to follow up with me on details and never did, she charged an exorbitant rate, and her results were spurious. I've never experienced this level of service at any business before. Beware!
This appraiser was great. She showed up early, answered questions, and generally put our mind at ease with a unique property. She did a great job with the appraisal, and understands the local real estate markets very well. Even when the lender had their own issues, she was quick to respond, and provide additional details. I would not hesitate to recommend this organization, and hope to use them again in future endeavors.
I just want to elaborate on the last post. Carmen needs to lose her licence! Not only did she not make any contact thru our amc until the middle of the month(when she lied about a death in the family) she eventually submitted the appraisal over a week later, it was sent back to her twice for corrections, simple ones such as the file number being in the wrong place, both times she took several days to respond.
