I have been a patient of Associated Family Physicians for over 20 years. Each and every experience has been wonderful. The Doctors and Practitioners are great, I believe in over 20 years although I mainly see Dr. Altman who is so kind and compassionate I have seen all the Providers and have receive excellent care. The Front Desk: Starting with the front desk, and yes, believe or not they are the beginning to the nightmare that is this office. It looks as if Meggie and I are on the exact same page (does that tell you something?)! These women are rude and lack the social capacity to deal with patients and/or anyone. I took off work for a sick visit, which I called and scheduled an apt. for. When I arrived at the office they had no record of my visit. After arguing for close to 45 mins that I made the apt and I couldn’t take off another ... read more
I don't know where all these "five star" reviews are coming from, unless they are solely evaluating the doctors (Jessica Dumas was really nice). But, I have never had a worse experience dealing with a medical office. I will never go back to this office. The desk staff were rude and very distracted. They didn't even make eye contact. I felt like I was in some crappy government healthcare place. They also have some seriously sketchy billing practices. I have been a patient of Dr. Barruw's over 15 years and I can always count on very attentive and courteous professionalism from the doctor and staff. They have always given me excellent care and I would recommend them in the highest of terms to anyone requiring 5 star service in healthcare.
I have been a patient of Associated Family Physicians for at least 5 years under the care of Dr. Lynda Altman. She and her staff are fantastic. I have never been disappointed. Dr. Altman takes her time and gives a thorough examination. She listens to all of my questions and explains all the answers. I am glad that she is my primary care physician and highly recommend her and this practice.
We have been going to Dr. Altman since we moved to Florida many, many years ago. She is a wonderful and caring doctor and she has helped us through many medical problems. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is a pleasure to go to the office and would reccomend Associated Family Physcians to anyone who is looking for a professional place for their medical needs.
Dr. Altman and her staff are the best. The office is very professional, organized and thorough. The staff always seem happy to help you and although it is a large facility, you do NOT feel like you are rushed through or treated like you are on an assembly line. Do not question choosing this group of people for your healthcare.
This is a good place to go for doctors. It is close to home and if there is an emergency you can always get in to see someone. They are very attentive and are very pleasant.
