My 95-year-old father has recently started receiving home health care assistance through the VA, and as part of this process, we’ve been working with Assistance Home Care. I am often reluctant to give compliments, but our experience with Amanda (Program Manager) and KiKi (my dad’s aide) has been nothing short of exceptional. If you are looking for a place to take care of your loved ones or self, I recommend Assistance Home Care. When life changed quickly for us they stepped in immediately and provided care for my mother. They worked with me to understand insurance and worked with me to add my father. They even worked with us through personality situations to make sure they provided the best loving care to my mom and dad. Amanda was a godsend! My father recently had to be transported by ambulance to the emergency room. He is 97 and was in great health prior to this. The hospital treated him and inserted a catheter that needs to stay in. Unable to get out of bed and have his regular routine I was lost as to where to start. Amanda came to the rescue and did a quick in-house evaluation and set everything up. We were very pleased with Assistance Home Care. My mom had a stroke and needed care during working hours. Assistance Home Care was very accommodating with the type of care and hours that we needed. Asia was fabulous, she was always on time, arrived with a smile on her face and took care of all of my moms needs. In addition she cleaned the house and did laundry. I highly recommend Assistance Home Care and Asia if you need a caregiver.
