Great pasta! – Great place for past. It is always fresh and you don't have to get the flavored stuff to appreciate how good it is. i buy the plain rigatoni all the time and love it. haven't tried their other stuff, but i hear the sandwiches are good too.
You can get a pound of their meat sauce and a pound of the most tender and delicious fresh pasta for around $10!!!!!

The cheese capalletti is the bet pasta I have ever had, hands down. The pesto is also extremely fresh and beats trader joes every time.
Assenti This is definitely the place to pick up a lasagne or some fresh pasta and sauce. The owners are very helpful and they give great ideas for which pastas go well with which sauces.
Must stop in Little Italy When a friend from Italy directs you to a market- you go. Oh did this store make me crazy- they have everything including my splurge of the year- unbelievably fresh truffle oil.
Assentis Pasta Family owned and run business, can't get any better than this. Their pasta and marinara is made fresh daily, stop and pick up your dinner on your way home. Don't forget - there is no dine in. Walk up to the counter and you'll be back for more. We actually carry their pasta & marinara back to Peoria, Illinois for family.
