This place rocks! Great locale to chill out, have great food and drink, enjoy some crowd watching. Get your Sunday brunch groove on with the DJ beats (don't miss the super fresh bloody Mary's).
We walked in on a Saturday night with no reservation at 6:00. There were two of us. We were seated in about four minutes. Very happy with that. Food was decent and since we were going to a movie after dinner, we were concerned with timing. Assembly just got their liquor license a week prior so we tried their cocktails. Went for a birthday celebration. I've had great experience in the past but this time fell short. Service was terrible. Had to ask for our waitress at least 3 times. The mushroom risotto was gummy and not seasoned. Our meals came out sporadically and after the people next to us that had arrived after us. The battered veggies and fresh bread was delicious however. Great wine selection as well. I think if I return I will stick to lunchtime.
Amazing on so many levels. Great food. Good service. Try the chili fries. My wife and I live in San Diego but we would make the trip again just for the fries.
