Nurses and staff are amazing.
I was in the ER last Friday. Was extremely happy with the person taking care of me. Was transported to Madison for the weekend. Still having issues although they felt safe to discharge me last Sunday. Since then, my primary at Aspirus has not returned the 3 calls I have put in to them. Blood work I was supposed to have done by yesterday was not ordered or done. Im told by the secretary i spoke with twice that the doctor has to decide "what to do with me". Generally we had an acceptable experience however the lab forgot to send our results to the physician that ordered the tests. So we had to do it ourselves. DIY medicine!
My dad went in for help. They were more concerned with getting him out of the hospital versus caring for him. They did give him an X Ray but didn't communicate any of the results with him or myself or my brother. If you are looking for emergency care, please find a hospital that actually cares for patients who are suffering. Aspirus failed my father sincerely by treating him like a problem rather than a human being. No food, no blanket, no communication, no proper care. Very, Very, very poor experiences with Dr. MICHEAL WALTERS! I broke my left wrist, Dr. Walter's did surgery on it, messed that up, put a right hand plate, by mistake, in my left hand, then had to re-do it again.
