My interactions with all of the staff at Aspira have been pleasant. Anytime I’ve sent emails, Caitlin has always responded promptly, maintaining a fine balance between professionalism and amiability. Every time I’ve seen her in-person (which isn’t particularly often), she’s remembered my unit number, which I believe is only one factor that demonstrates her dedication to the residents here. As a new tenant I cannot say the old negative comments are true or not, but would say what I experienced so far (almost 1 month) is mostly positive. Negative ones are mostly minor and personal, but I'll list them here for a complete reference for viewers. Pros: - Competitive price in expensive downtown/SLU region (unit/parking) - Unit itself is good. Absolutely abysmal "standards" for cleaning my partner's apartment prior to move-in day. They had not done cleaning beyond what the previous residents did. There was clearly mold on the air movement fins of the heat/air unit as well as pet hair; then when we popped off the plastic cover to the unit there was a large amount of dust and dirt inside as well (that even slumlord landlords tend to actually bother to clean). Love the new maintenance crew with Greystar. Abdul and Lateef are the most helpful and friendly folks I’ve met, have fixed almost every issue I’ve had in less than 48 hours.
