RecommendedAmazing motel and cafe. We got caught up in an unexpected snowstorm, and pulled in and immediately got stuck, Travis and Hudson were very attentive and got me dug out and settled into an amazing ski theme room. The kiddos love it, the bed is so comfy! The home cooked cafe was excellent and atmosphere was so warm and cozy! We will definitely stay here again.
Gave it a second chance! Glad I did! Service and food were great. Their burgers and pasole are really fantastic. To top it off I was able to get the last room because I was snowed in. Not a bad rate for the room too. Way to step up the game Dusty Boots!
CUTEST little Motel i have ever seen and sweetest people!
We had to stay one night due to closing of the road to Alamogordo caused by heavy snow. We were surprised to find a great service at the front desk from Travis Richardson who found us a room for my 8-month pregnant daughter and even arranged to open the kitchen for a late dinner - his attention and service were beyond any level seen as a former hotelier . Such a rude waitress. We walk in to see a sign that says “please seat yourself” and we walk in to do just that as my husband gets yelled at by a waitress stating that the huge group next to us is sitting there and at an other table across on the other side. NO NEED TO YELL!!! Your little small joint isn’t that big and you didn’t have to embarrass us in front of everyone. Extremely disappointing. Server was terrible and food came out cold and it took an hour and a halve to come out. food is premade and just thrown in the oven.
Enjoyed our meal and atmosphere.
Service is excellent! Really crazy tonight because of the bad road conditions, but the employees were still trying their best to satisfy us and the others that were left stranded in the cold. Our host Travis, was by far the best! We've stayed here many times before and will continue coming back!
German Night! We come to Cloudcroft every year, and Friday nights have been awesome since we discovered the German menu! So appreciate the sauerbraten especially, that stuff takes time! The schnitzel, meatballs, cabbage and potato salad are also favorites.
