I had a total hip replacement a month ago. Surgery went very well, and the week after surgery, I met my physical therapist, Amy Thompson. She was kind, and made me feel very much at ease over the exercises that I had to start, always making me feel comfortable and reassured of my progress. In 2 weeks I had gone from a walker to a walking stick, and now because of her training, I only carry the walking stick in case I tire on a walk. Amy was great in helping me get back to being mobile after my knee replacement. I had an episode of swelling/edema that was limiting my progress- she did some massage to help move the fluid and showed my wife how to do it so we had it resolved in only a few days. She was always professional but was friendly and made the exercise more enjoyable.
Pam is great! She takes really good care of my Mom when she is here. Very polite, patient and thorough with her bathing.
