I want to give this establishment five out of five stars. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff's attitude toward people in need of help and support. The food is wonderful and delicious, the setting is beautiful, and the cleanliness is top-notch (9/10)—though, of course, there are occasional minor flaws, they are very few and far between. I luckily had a better experience here than most of the people that went, but it still sucked. They first strip search you which was very uncomfortable. The nurses would just shrug you off when you asked anything, and i felt like more like a prisoner than a patient trying to get better. The doctor only visited once which was 7 in the morning and left, and you couldnt talk to them till the next day. I talked to my therapist like..2-3 times within my 6 day stay. I admitted myself here because I was depressed and having suicidal thoughts. While I was there, I took a phone call from a friend and smiled while I was on the call. Later, I learned that a charge nurse had written in my chart that I was faking my depression because of that brief interaction. When I tried to return for help later on, I was turned away and told that intake believed I had lied about being depressed.
