Typical dental practice. Add-ons galore, gotta have x-rays (find stuff that needs to be done... now), hygienist exam, dentist exam, blah, blah, blah. I went in just to have a crown recemented back on. Ultimate cost for less than 5' with the dentist and a bit of cement? $362! Everyone very nice, but my goal wasn't to make new friends, but to have a simple, straightforward job done. This is where high-tech dentistry is nowadays. It's about extracting... money. sigh
